Our Story
Built in Halifax. Built to Last.
Jack Dunavant Jr. came home to Halifax after serving in the US Air Force and earning an engineering degree from Virginia Military Institute and the University of Virginia. He found almost no work waiting for him. So he built his own company in 1965.
Sixty years later, three of his children and three of his grandchildren work alongside him. His crews are currently on-site at Hitachi Energy, Danville Regional Airport, and the new Sentara hospital. Jack still holds his active PE license at 90 years old.
That's not a corporate story. That's a Halifax story.
